Situated within half a mile of the M1/M621 motorway network and the Leeds Container base and Rail terminal, Northern Containers is perfectly positioned to service container traffic throughout Northern England. We provide full depot services from lifting, storage, estimating, repairs and reporting. Lifting and stacking is performed by our fleet of modern high stacking lift trucks which ensures the time taken for collection or delivery of a container is kept to a minimum. Containers are stored on our secure 6 acre site, on good quality concrete and tarmac surfaces in stacks that allow for optimum selectivity for any individual customer. All incoming containers are surveyed to IICL or customers own standard, on hand held computers and damage estimates are transmitted to customers via EDI ensuring minimum delay. Full control of container movement is maintained using dedicated computer systems and daily status reports are sent as required. Spacious covered repair bays provide excellent conditions for high quality repairs to all types of containers. High-pressure steam cleaning facilities are used to clean the containers ready for their next cargo.
